Sabanci Renewables Inc. has chosen Bechtel to construct a 272 MW DC photo voltaic facility in Fort Bend County, Texas. The power would be the first utility-scale photo voltaic venture in the USA for Sabanci Renewables Inc., a subsidiary of Sabanci Holding, a Turkish firm. Bechtel’s scope contains engineering, procurement, development, commissioning and venture administration for the Texas facility. Venture development will start within the first quarter of 2023 with completion of the venture anticipated within the second quarter of 2024.
