In places of work in San Francisco, New York, and on firm messaging channels, Twitter staff spent all day Friday looking frantically for some information of who had been fired, how their jobs would change, and even official affirmation that Musk had really purchased the corporate. However no official announcement went out.
The corporate’s remaining senior leaders — 4 had already been fired — huddled privately in places of work with Musk’s staff and didn’t emerge, in response to two folks acquainted with the deliberations who spoke on the situation of anonymity to explain them. And a gathering with Musk that chief advertising and marketing officer Leslie Berland had beforehand introduced to the corporate didn’t seem like taking place, the folks mentioned.
